Can we have the ability to adjust the copilot prompt height manually so that the responses can be more easily read?

When I use copilot I am working on a laptop. I have the same issue in every app.

I open an app and go to use copilot. I enter a prompt and get a response. The response cannot be read more than a single line at a time and the scroll bar is pretty fiddly and unuseable. There is no "copy response" button.

The problem is that I cannot shrink or minimise the prompt area. This is exacerbated when copilot offers suggested prompts, which even if I expand the copilot pane as far as it goes, will make the prompt area take up quarter of my laptop screen. I don't feel I should need to use an external 55 inch monitor. It should be accessible on a small screen. I don't feel I should have to click into a tiny response area, scroll to find the top of the response, start selecting the response, scroll to the end of the response and copy selected text (because select all would take the entire conversation so far which I don't necessarily want), then paste into word or notepad just to read.

It would be accessible if you made the slight modification required to allow the prompt area to be rezised manually so that the response area was more visible, and/or individual responses had a copy response button.

This behavior is currently a known limitation in the Copilot pane UI. The prompt input area is fixed and cannot be manually resized, which restricts the response viewing space on smaller screens. At the moment, there is also no built-in “Copy response” button for individual replies.

    Workarounds available today:

    1. Use the web/desktop zoom controls (Ctrl + “–” or browser zoom out) to increase the effective vertical space.
    2. Pop out Copilot in supported apps (e.g., Edge sidebar → Copilot → “Detach”) to maximize the response area.
    3. Use the “Copy” option through the message menu where available (three-dot overflow menu in some Copilot experiences).
    4. Leverage the Microsoft 365 Copilot web experience, which generally offers a larger and more scroll-friendly layout.

Feature Request Path: Microsoft routes UI enhancement requests through the official Feedback Portal. Users can submit or upvote the request here so the engineering team can prioritize it: https://feedbackportal.microsoft.com/feedback

Documentation Reference: Current UI behavior is aligned with product design documented here in the Copilot Studio interface overview: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-copilot-studio/authoring-create-edit-topics?tabs=webApp

At this time, dynamic prompt-pane resizing or per-response copy buttons are not configurable features. The recommended path is to file/upvote a feature request so it can be included in a future UI iteration.

    Thank you.
