Why am I receiving only current emails in Hotmail on all devices and desktop?

I am not receiving my emails in Hotmail on Iphone, Tablet, or Desktop. It shows only one received this morning which is incorrect. All emails in my folders are still there. Nothing in Archives.

Did web search. Verified the settings, cleared browsers, restarted devices. When I click "load more messages" it shows 2018, or one from Jan, and that's it. Spent the last two hours and I give up. Probably something simple but I cannot find it. Please help. THANK YOU.

(PS I don't know if I have classic or new Outlook but it made me select.)

It sounds like you are experiencing issues with receiving emails in your Hotmail account across multiple devices. Here are a few potential reasons and solutions:

    1. Cached Mode Issues: If you are using Outlook in Cached mode, sometimes emails may not appear due to synchronization issues. You can try starting Outlook with the /cleanips switch to clear any stuck items in the incoming item processing pipeline. To do this:
      • Exit Outlook if it is running.
      • Start Outlook using the command: Outlook.exe /cleanips.
    2. Clear Offline Items: If the above does not resolve the issue, you can clear offline items in your Inbox to force a resynchronization:
      • Right-click the Inbox folder and select Properties.
      • In the Inbox Properties dialog, go to the General tab and select Clear Offline Items.
      • Confirm the action and then press Shift+F9 to resynchronize your Inbox.
    3. Check Filters and Views: Ensure that there are no filters applied that might be hiding your emails. Check the view settings in Outlook to make sure all emails are set to be displayed.
    4. Autodiscover Issues: If you are using a Microsoft 365 account, there might be issues with the Autodiscover process. You can test this using the Microsoft Remote Connectivity Analyzer to ensure that Outlook is correctly configured to connect to your email server.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, consider checking your account settings or contacting support for further assistance.

    Hello,

Check your junk folder and your deleted items folder, they may have been moved there due to a rule, and as extension check your mail rules as well, it may be sending your emails to a different folder than expected.

    Hope this helps,

    JC
