Why can't I log in to Microsoft/Outlook account on new device?

I installed fresh copy of Windows 11. I can't acces my existing outlook email, neither can I add that account to Settings/Account/Email & Accounts/Add Microsoft account. Whatever I do, however I try, absolutely every time I get the error message "Tried too many times with wrong username or password" which is nonsense, my login data are 100% accurate. I tried reinstalling win 11 several times, I tried switching browsers, Incognito mode, changing internet from wifi to mobile internet. Absolutely nothing helped. My existing account works perfectly on my other, older PCs and on my Android phone. I tried to create a new outlook mail account and this one instantly worked - but it's useless to me - I need my legitimate, existing account to be accessible on my new laptop. I even tried to get rid of windows 11 and installed windows 10 on the same machine. I ended up with the exact same problem. Can't login to outlook with my account. I do have 2FA activated for that account. I even tried to deactivate it temporeraly from my older PC, but that didn't help either. Laptop simply refuses to let me log in on my mail, and I'm stuck completely.
What is going on here?

Thanks for the details. When you try signing in on the new laptop, do you receive any verification prompt on your older PC or phone that you need to approve?

If not, please go to account.microsoft.com/security on a trusted device, review any security alerts, confirm your identity, and make sure your sign-in method is updated. Then restart the new laptop and add your Microsoft account again from Settings, Accounts, Email and accounts. If the error repeats, visit aka.ms/signinhelp from the trusted device to reset the sign-in status and try again.

When you try signing in on the new laptop, do you receive any verification prompt on your older PC or phone that you need to approve? - No, I did not get any prompt, neither on my trusted PC, nor on my phone

If not, please go to account.microsoft.com/security on a trusted device, review any security alerts - I did that and all I see are bunch of Successful sign-in entries, nothing else, nothing suspicious

confirm your identity, and make sure your sign-in method is updated - what does this means exactly? What exact steps do I need to take? What do I need to look for? What steps, what options? Can you provide step-by-step instructions?
