To connect multiple monitors to your laptop, you can follow these steps:

    1. Check Compatibility: Ensure that your laptop supports multiple monitors. This typically requires a USB4/Thunderbolt 4 port or a compatible HDMI port.
    2. Use the Right Ports: Connect your monitors using the appropriate ports. For example, you can connect two 4K monitors at 60Hz via USB-C or HDMI 2.1 ports. If you want to daisy chain monitors, ensure they support DisplayPort 1.2 and Multi-Stream Transport (MST).
    3. Daisy Chaining Monitors: If you are daisy chaining:
      • Connect your laptop to the first monitor's DisplayPort-In.
      • Connect the first monitor's DisplayPort-Out to the second monitor's DisplayPort-In.
      • Repeat this for additional monitors, if applicable.
      • Make sure to enable DisplayPort 1.2 in the monitor's settings.
    4. Display Settings: After connecting, right-click on the desktop and select "Display settings." Here, you can configure how you want the displays to function (Extend, Duplicate, etc.).
    5. Troubleshooting: If the monitors are not detected:
      • Use the keyboard shortcut Win+Ctrl+Shift+B to refresh the display.
      • In Display Settings, click the "Detect" button.
      • Ensure that the lid close action is set to a setting other than "Do nothing" if using a laptop.

If you continue to experience issues, it may be due to driver problems or hardware limitations.

    User's image

I did do some more searching on the company and found there are drivers for their monitor which may be the issue. The instructions are really vague that came with the monitor..it was a picture with plugins and no references to website.. driver is being installed now.

    Hi ,

    Disconnect HDMI on laptop

We'll use DDU to remove all Intel drivers.

    You can use DDU: https://www.guru3d.com/download/display-driver-uninstaller-download/

Note: DDU is a third-party application to completely delete and reinstall the GPU driver.

    1. After downloading, extract ddu to a folder.
    2. Run the driver screen uninstaller.exe application, select Model tab, put GPU. After uninstalling the GPU Driver, uninstall it for Intel
    3. Click on the First option clean and reboot and wait for the process to finish.
    4. After running DDU and install driver :

Open the command prompt (admin) and run the commands: sfc /scannow and dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth, wait for the process to finish and restart the computer.

Then perform a clean boot and if you want to uninstall applications that you do not use.
