I am trying to use my account to install Microsoft 365 onto a second computer. When I log into Microsoft, I do not see an option to install apps.
My subscription was renewed last week. I received a Renewal Confirmation email. When I click on the download button in the email, I get the following message:
Check which account you used

We can’t find your subscription. Did you use another account to make the purchase? You are signed in with ******@shaw.ca.

I cannot remember for which account this subscription was purchased.
How can I find out?

To find out which account you used to purchase your Microsoft 365 subscription, you can try the following steps:

    1. Check Your Email Accounts: Look through your email accounts for any purchase confirmation or renewal emails from Microsoft. These emails typically contain details about the account used for the purchase.
    2. Sign In to Other Accounts: If you have multiple email accounts, try signing in to each one on the Microsoft account page. You can check if any of them have a subscription associated with them.
    3. Contact Microsoft Support: If you're unable to find the account through your emails or by signing in, consider reaching out to Microsoft Support. They can help you recover the account associated with your subscription.
    4. Check with Your Organization: If this subscription was purchased through an organization (like a school or business), check with your IT department or administrator to see if they have any records of the subscription.

By following these steps, you should be able to identify the account associated with your Microsoft 365 subscription.

Hello, good day and thanks for your question. To add to the above, in the event that you will still encounter an issue you can reach out to the support team at https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/contactus/ and then click on Microsoft 365 and then click Get Home Support and then type in Billing question and click the blue button that says Sign in (you may use an alternative account) to contact Support and login and proceed from there. Kindly take note that the forum does not have access to user accounts to be able to check and determine on what account was used.
