suddenly lost my gmail calendar and unable to get my comcast email on outlook

Over the last week or so I have had two odd problems with my outlook. First, I lost access to my gmail calendar on outlook. I have tried every method to add or or even just to view it and it does not come up. I have invited myself to it and it looks like it is working but nothing happens, I have tried to add as a shared calendar to no avail - nothing seems to work. It works fine on my phone.

At the same time, I have been unable to get any email from my comcast account on my outlook (IMAP). I have tried every fix including removing it - though now I am unable to resinstall it. I get an error message that says that the connection to the incoming IMAP server was dropped.

Not sure if these are related but odd that they happened at the same time. Any ideas?

    2. Use App Password if Two-Factor Authentication is Enabled

    • Generate an app password in Comcast account settings and use it in Outlook.
