How can I request cancellation and refund without logging in because I get into an endless loop trying to change password with no access to 2-step verification phone numbers? I have tried to contact support but cannot.

I have tried everything to somehow get a live person to help me but there is no way to do it. Can someone please help.

Hey there! Nice to meet you!

If you have the 25-character recovery codes for the two-factor authentication (2FA), you can use them to reset your password.

However, if you do not have access to all of your verification methods and you also do not have the 25-character recovery codes, I'm afraid it is no longer possible to recover the account.

Please be advised that unless the account owner is able to access the account, subscription cancellation is not possible, and Microsoft personnel cannot retrieve this information.

If you are no longer able to recover your account, you will need to reach out directly to your bank/financial institution and request to freeze all charges from Microsoft.

You may also need to request a new payment method.

Your answer is exactly what I am not accepting as a resolution because I do not understand. I am sure that you think that is helpful and I thank you for the time and your response, but I have questions and I cannot get in and I cannot get my brother’s money back because it was already paid and is of no use if you can’t sign in. Everything here is a constant loop or AI making assumptions and suggesting the exact same things that just loop you back to no resolution.
