Retrieve product key for Microsoft 365 Basic

To retrieve your Microsoft 365 Basic product key, follow these steps:

1. Sign in to the Microsoft 365 admin center with your admin account.
2. Navigate to Billing > Your products.
3. Locate the Microsoft 365 Basic subscription in the list of products.
4. On the subscription details page, look for the Downloads & keys section.
5. Here, you should find the option to copy your product key. Select Copy key to clipboard to retrieve it.
6. Store the key in a secure location for future use during installation or activation.

If you do not see the product key, ensure that you are logged in with the correct account that has the necessary permissions to access the product keys.

Microsoft 365 basic is just a plan for 100GB storage only. It doesn’t come with office apps. Your Microsoft account itself is the license. Just launch the OneDrive app and log into the Microsoft account used for the subscription.
