Re, ticket # 7092706209, my computer is pretty much useless other than the internet after recent windows updates. Explorer does not work, file explorer is completely missing from everything, start menu does not work, cannot even do a backup - because windows not allowing me to open software.

I saw this is an issue with enterprise computers - mine is not an enterprise computer - mine is strictly a home computer which i purchased.

Need to talk to a human immediately!

It sounds like you're experiencing significant issues with your Windows operating system after recent updates. Since you mentioned that your computer is not an enterprise device, you should be able to contact Microsoft Support directly for assistance with your ticket. Here are some steps you can take to get help:

    1. Contact Microsoft Support: You can reach out to Microsoft Support via phone or online chat. They can provide you with direct assistance and escalate your issue if necessary.
    2. Check Support Options: If you have a Microsoft 365 subscription, you may have access to additional support options.
    3. Provide Detailed Information: When you contact support, be sure to provide them with your ticket number (#7092706209) and describe the issues you're facing in detail, as you've done here.

Unfortunately, I cannot connect you directly to a human representative, but following these steps should help you get the assistance you need.

Start your PC, just as Windows attempts to load (spinning dots), press and hold Power Button for 5 - 10 seconds to perform a Hard Shut Down

    Do this twice

On the third start Windows will boot into the Recovery Environment and from there you can access System Repair, Safe Mode, Command Prompt... etc.

Please try each option one at a time, then see if Windows will boot to a stable system.

    .

If there is an option to uninstall the latest update, that may be the best option.

    .

Go to Troubleshoot - Advanced Option - Startup Repair

See if Windows startup can repair itself.

    .

Go to Troubleshoot - Advanced Option - System Restore

Check to see if you have a restore point you can go back to.
