Mouse pointer keep flickering and resetting position

I have a Dell Precision 5530 running on Windows 11 Education. My mouse started flickering and resetting its position to the top center of my screen constantly. It became impossible to do anything because every time I moved the mouse, it reset its position right away. Checked the computer and there is no new software and drivers installed/updated in the past few days. The computer comes with a touch screen and touch pad, and I have tried disabling both drivers, but it didn't fix the problem. A Microsoft online support person tried disabling different drivers and updating firmware but couldn't fix it. Told me to reinstall the Windows OS, which I did, and that didn't fix it either. I found out today that if I plug the laptop into an external monitor through HDMI and do "second screen only", the problem goes away. But if I try "duplicate" or "Extend" the problem still around. Any idea what I can do to fix this?
