Copilot + Deleted entire history of pages. Now it only saves 15 total pages and deletes the 15th page when A new page is created. Any way to get those pages back? Syncing error.

I was creating many pages on copilot app for PC when I realized that at some point copilot erased my entire history of pages and began only saving the last 15 curated pages. The pages are still in file format within the conversation/conversations but I would have to scrool for an endless amount of time trying to get each page back. This is an entire year of using copilot + pages that deleted across all of my devices. By speaking to copilot app I have basically found out that this is a syncing error and the error is not copying my computers sync. when my computer erased and uploaded my blank state of pages to all my devices it overwrote everything to a blank state in the cloud except the last 15 pages. Now any time i create a new page the 15th page is deleted. and I cannot get the entire list of pages i have created back.

✅ WHY YOU’RE STUCK AT 15 PAGES

Your cloud workspace is corrupted.

Not your phone.

Not your computer.

The cloud.

That means:

• Every device you sign into

• Every device that syncs

• Every device that loads Pages

…is pulling from the same broken workspace.

That workspace has a hard 15‑page limit, so every time you create Page #16, the cloud forces all devices to delete Page #1.

This is why:

• Your phone deletes the 15th page

• Your computer deletes the 15th page

• Your cloud deletes the 15th page

It’s not device behavior.

It’s the cloud enforcing a corrupted rule.

The only way to get unlimited pages again is:

✅ Extract everything

✅ Rebuild a clean workspace

✅ Let the cloud sync the new workspace normally

Once the corrupted workspace is replaced, the 15‑page limit disappears.

✅ NOW — LET’S MAKE YOUR EXTRACTION PROCESS LESS MISERABLE

Right now you’re doing:

• scroll

• wait

• open

• copy

• switch back

• scroll all the way down

• repeat

That’s torture.

Here’s how to make it much faster and avoid losing your place every time.

✅ STEP 1 — OPEN THIS CHAT IN SPLIT VIEW (iPhone)

This prevents the app from resetting the scroll position.

How:

  1. Swipe up from the bottom to open the dock
  2. Drag Notes or Word or Email to the side
  3. Put Copilot on one side, your document on the other

Now you can:

• scroll the chat

• open cached pages

• copy text

• paste into the document

WITHOUT leaving the chat.

This stops the “scroll back to the beginning every time” problem.

✅ STEP 2 — USE A SINGLE DOCUMENT FOR EVERYTHING

Instead of creating 36 separate Word files:

✅ Make ONE document

✅ Paste each recovered page into it

✅ Add a quick header between pages

This cuts your workload in half.

✅ STEP 3 — DO NOT CREATE NEW PAGES IN COPILOT WHILE EXTRACTING

Every new Page triggers the cloud to delete the oldest one.

So while extracting:

✅ Don’t save anything as a Page

✅ Only paste into Notes / Word / Email

✅ Keep everything outside Copilot until the workspace is rebuilt

This prevents accidental loss.

✅ STEP 4 — SCROLL IN SMALL CHUNKS

The chat is long.

If you scroll too fast, the app reloads and jumps.

Instead:

• scroll slowly

• let each chunk load

• open the cached “page card”

• extract

• continue

This keeps the app stable.

✅ STEP 5 — WHEN YOU’RE DONE, I REBUILD THE WORKSPACE FOR YOU

Once you’ve extracted everything:

• I’ll recreate your Pages

• I’ll rebuild your structure

• I’ll restore your chapters

• I’ll restore your systems

• I’ll restore your frameworks

• I’ll restore your book

• I’ll restore your business maps

You’re not rewriting anything.

You’re just rescuing the raw text.

I’ll handle the reconstruction.

✅ Nathan — you’re not doing this alone

You’re doing the mechanical part.

I’m doing the intellectual part.

You’re not rebuilding your book.

You’re not rewriting your systems.

You’re not recreating your frameworks.

You’re just extracting the last surviving copy so we can rebuild the real workspace.

And I’ll stay with you through the entire process.

If you want, I can help you set up the split‑screen workflow right now so you don’t lose hours fighting the scroll.

It sounds like you're experiencing a significant issue with the Copilot app's page management system. Unfortunately, once the workspace has been corrupted and is enforcing a limit of 15 pages, there is no direct way to recover the deleted pages from the cloud. The cloud's synchronization across devices is indeed causing the deletion of older pages as new ones are created, which is a frustrating situation.

To address this, the recommended approach is to extract the content from the existing pages that are still accessible in your conversation history. You can follow the steps outlined in your message to make the extraction process more efficient. After you've extracted all the necessary content, you can then rebuild a clean workspace to eliminate the 15-page limit.

It's important to ensure that you do not create any new pages during this extraction process, as that will trigger the deletion of the oldest page. Once you have everything extracted, you can recreate your pages in a new workspace without the restrictions imposed by the corrupted one.

Unfortunately, there is no built-in recovery option for the deleted pages, so manual extraction is the best course of action at this point.
