Does anyone know why my account randomly signed me out of Microsoft then told me that my account doesn’t exist and I have to make a new one, but when I do so, it says “Gmail already in use” then takes me back to sign in where I’m met with the same problem. The Microsoft Ai really sucks, the recovery form keeps asking for my Gmail and info but I DONT HAVE IT… I don’t understand what is going on and it won’t let me put in my phone number, password or Gmail, it says all of those things are wrong. I don’t know how to make a ticket because everything has to be super complicated, I don’t know how to fix this, and I need help from a actually alive assistant… not an Ai who just keeps redirecting me to useless forms. Someone please get back to me I seriously beg.

It sounds like you're experiencing a frustrating issue with your Microsoft account. Here are some steps you can take to try to resolve the problem:

    1. Check for Account Existence: Make sure that your Microsoft account is still active. You can try logging in with different email addresses you may have used.
    2. Recover Your Account: If you are unable to log in, you can use the account recovery form. Ensure that you provide as much information as possible about your account, even if you don't have access to the email or phone number associated with it. If your Gmail is already in use, it may indicate that the account is still linked to that email.
    3. Contact Support: Since you mentioned having difficulty with the forms, consider reaching out to Microsoft support directly. You can look for a support phone number or chat option on the Microsoft support website. This might allow you to speak with a live representative who can assist you further.
    4. Check for Federated Sign-in: If your account is associated with a corporate email domain, check with your IT department to see if there are any issues with federated sign-in that might affect your access.
    5. Create a New Account: If all else fails and you cannot recover your existing account, you may need to create a new Microsoft account with a different email address that is not currently in use.

These steps should help you troubleshoot the issue with your Microsoft account. If you continue to experience problems, reaching out to Microsoft support directly may be your best option for resolution.

Hello, thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

Based on the description you provided, it seems like your Microsoft account has been compromised. That is, someone might have taken control of your account and changed all of your account information. Have you enabled 2FA and Microsoft Authenticator security on your Microsoft account?

As Microsoft no longer recycles email addresses, you cannot create a Microsoft account again with the same address. It appears you used your @gmail.com address on Microsoft. Are you able to sign in to Google services using your @gmail address normally?

To confirm if they have changed your account information, go to Look up your username using your security contact phone number or email address. Page.

Enter the security information and check the associated username. Check whether your @gmail.com address is on the lists.

Additionally, open an incognito tab (Private browsing) and sign in to your account using the link below.

If you're receiving the same error, your account might have been compromised. In this situation, go to the link here and select "If you still see 'We couldn't find an account with that username'." This will take you to support. See if they can help you here.
