After updating to Microsoft Edge version 143.0.3650.66, the tab bar has become visually separated from the address bar, creating a persistent gap. Through this gap, I can see the content of any window or desktop behind the browser application.

upd: The flickering and graphical corruption in the gap are also consistently triggered every time I change the input language or text case.

I am using Debian 12 with Kde plasma (Version: 4:5.27.5-2) with X.Org X Server 1.21.1.7.
kwin 5.27.5

There are a few visual problems reported in the latest version of the Edge browser, many people are reporting problems with the top bars in Edge, try completely uninstalling Edge, restart your system and then download and re-install Edge.

Also, open Edge settings, then type hardware in the settings search box, if there is a hardware acceleration setting in Edge on Debian, try disabling that setting.

I've figured it out! It's a good thing I was changing the theme from light to dark yesterday and noticed that odd GTK parameter. That parameter was creating the gap between the tab bar and the address bar all along. The gap has been completely eliminated.User's image
