I don’t use Layout features in MS Access but found this in another forum “If you right click on the "empty cell" and change it's layout, e.g. to stacked or to tabular etc., then it will allow you to delete it.”
Forms- Empty text boxes that do not go away
I've created a form based off of a table. When I open the form and start moving the text boxes around, i notice that there are several other text boxes but in the Properties, the name or section type is "Empty Cell".
I would not let this bother me, however, I am trying to resize the text boxes and fix my layout, more user friendly looking, but when I resize my text boxes, the empty boxes resized and not the actual text box that I am working on. I try to delete the text box and seems like it does disappear but when I click that same area, the empty text box is still there.
Why are these text boxes showing up?
How do I get rid of these empty text boxes?
