Search engine is really bad

I don't understand why a simple search is so hard to work properly. I just need to filter some of the hundreds files that I have inside the folderUser's image

    Thanks for sharing the details, Wellintgon! Try to force SharePoint to re-index only this folder.

    This is rarely suggested but works surprisingly often.

    What to do

    • Open the document library (not just the folder)
    • ⚙️ Settings → Library settings
    • Advanced settings
    • Set Allow items from this document library to appear in search results = No
    • Save
    • Wait 10–15 minutes
    • Set it back to Yes
    • Wait another 15–30 minutes

    This forces a fresh crawl, clearing broken index entries for that folder.

    This works even when global search is “working” elsewhere.
