I have received an email saying I will be charged for a family subscription after a trial period. I cannot login to that account to cancel. I need an agent to help with the process. The help channel is useless. When I check my account I only hold 1 subscription and thats for a personal account.

    Hi Chris,

I am afraid QA is just a user user support forum. You must contact an agent to resolve this who has access to accounts.

Please get in touch with Microsoft Support for further help.

    Please go to https://support.microsoft.com/contactus page

Type the ""Chat with someone"" option and press Enter.

Please click on the ""Contact support"" button at the bottom.

Select the Product and Category for support according to your requirement.

The available support methods will be shown to you.

I hope you find this information useful. If you have any more questions, don't hesitate to reach out. Otherwise, please take a moment to accept the answer. Wishing you good luck!

If you are unable to log into your account to cancel the subscription, you may need to contact Microsoft support for assistance. Since you mentioned that the help channel has been unhelpful, you can try reaching out through different support options available for Microsoft 365 subscriptions. You can also check if you have any other accounts associated with the email you used for the subscription, as the subscription might be linked to a different account.

Additionally, if you have a Microsoft Customer Agreement (MCA) billing account type, you must be a Billing account owner or contributor to cancel subscriptions. If you have a Microsoft Online Subscription Agreement (MOSA), you need to be at least a Billing Administrator. Make sure to verify your account type and roles.

If you are still unable to resolve the issue, contacting support directly is the best option to ensure your subscription is canceled before any charges are applied.
