Why do I have to have GIT

Why do I have to have GIT to use Data Factory? I currently use TFS. Why can't that be used, or my Azure Storage container or.... I hate GIT

Hello @Lee Taylor and thank you for your question. I understand you are frustrated with the lack of options.
Would you like to know why GIT was chosen, or would you like ideas for possible work-around, or perhaps make a feature request?

If you use the visual authoring tool, the only idea I have is to use GIT and TFS together in the same project .
Authoring via API or SDK or Powershell completely bypasses the source control.
