The Visual Studio Express editions are free and can be accessed from https://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/express. They're free for one year, which should give you a chance to play and learn. VS is very similar to LotusScript, so if you're comfortable writing in LS, you should find the transition very easy. Check it out!
