Steffen's Bio

Hi there, my name is Steffen Schreier and I am a Program Manager on the Embedded Windows team. Currently my main focus is enabling you to service all those nifty devices you come up with!!!

Before joining Microsoft in July 2006, I worked for various companies in Silicon Valley, England and Germany developing embedded devices ranging from underwater acoustic positioning systems, over RFID tracking solutions to confocal microscopy. I graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering , but have exclusively worked on embedded software.

I am married and we have a son, a dog and a cat. When not working I enjoy hiking, diving, sailing, travel and photography.
