We have confirmed that all systems are back to normal as of November 9th 2018 04:45 UTC. Our logs show the incident started on November 9th 2018 03:05 UTC and during this time, a peak of 653 users would have experienced slowness while working on Azure DevOps.
- Root Cause: The initial symptom indicates high CPU on 2 of our Application Tier(AT) roles, recycling these roles lead to mitigation.
- Lessons Learned: We have collected the diagnostic information from the recycled ATs and are trying to understand the cause.
- Chance of Re-occurrence: High as we do not understand what high CPU.
