This feature enforces business rules to help ensure that you don't create incorrect journal entries. The feature introduces new validations, and it automatically fills in dependent values based on the transaction class and type.
Feature details
Dynamics 365 Project Operations offers a journal feature that lets you record actuals directly within the system. By using entry journals, you can skip logging time, expenses, and material usage separately in Project Operations.
This feature helps prevent incorrect journal entries by enforcing business rules. It adds new validations and automatically fills in dependent values based on the transaction class and type.
