Business value
Organizations often need to categorize and report revenue from different sources. When you enable on-account transactions for a project category, you add a category field. This field lets you use and report on different financial accounts.
Feature details
With this feature, you can specify different project categories for project milestones or other on-account transaction types. When you use project categories, you can choose different financial accounts for posting and recording in the general ledger and the project subledger for reporting purposes. Use this feature for resource and nonstocked deployments.
