In Copilot Studio, you can easily create agents by first describing what you want your agent to do, in your own words.
To create your first agent, see Quickstart: Create and deploy an agent.
Create an agent

Switch to the environment you want, if needed.
Optionally, change the primary language, solution, and schema name for your agent.
On the Home page or on the Agents page, enter a brief description of what you want your agent to do. The description can have up to 1,024 characters.
Note
The option to create an agent in natural language isn't available if you are in a sovereign cloud or if your admin turned off cross-geo checks.
Alternatively, you can use one of the following options:
- On the Home page, select Create an agent under Start building form scratch.
- On the Agents page, select Create blank agent.
- On the Agents page, select the down arrow next to Create blank agent, select Advance create to change the primary language, solution, and schema name for your agent, and select Confirm and create.
The Overview page for your agent appears.
If you started with a description in your own words, the AI generates the name, description, and instructions for your agent. In addition, the AI suggestS triggers/channels, knowledge sources, and tools. You can ignore, accept, or dismiss these suggestions. They don't persist beyond the current session.
Once Copilot Studio finishes provisioning your agent, configure its basic features.
Depending on your agent's purposes, you can:
Test your agent and improve it.
Note
Agents you create in Copilot Studio are automatically configured for Microsoft Entra ID authentication. You can also configure single sign-on (SSO) so your users don't need to sign in manually. For more information, see Configure single sign-on with Microsoft Entra ID.
