IWebBrowser2::get_Application

This method uses the Application property to get the automation object for an application that is hosting the WebBrowser control.

Syntax

HRESULT IWebBrowser2::get_Application(
  IDispatch **ppDisp
);

Parameters

ppDisp
[out] Address of a pointer to the IDispatch interface that receives the automation object.

Return Value

This method returns the standard values E_INVALIDARG, E_OUTOFMEMORY, E_UNEXPECTED, and E_FAIL, as well as the following:

S_OK
The method completed successfully.

DISPID

DISPID_WEBBROWSER_APPLICATION

The DISPID is defined in piedocvw.h. Use this value to identify the event handler when implementing IDispatch::Invoke.
