The SimGetSmsStorageStatus function gets the status of a Short Message Service storage location. This function is part of the SIM Manager API set that enables access to information stored on the SIM card.

  HSIM hSim,
  DWORD dwStorage,
  LPDWORD lpdwUsed,
  LPDWORD lpdwTotal
);

Parameters

• hSim
  Points to a valid HSIM handle.

• dwStorage
  A SIM_SMSSTORAGE constant.

  Value	Description
  SIM_SMSSTORAGE_BROADCAST	Broadcast message storage location
  SIM_SMSSTORAGE_SIM	SIM storage location

• lpdwUsed
  Pointer to the number of locations used.

• lpdwTotal
  Pointer to the total number of locations.

Return Values

HRESULTs are either S_OK for success, or one of the SIM_E error constants defined in the SIM Manager Error Constants table.

Remarks

This is a privileged function.
