This code sample is named BirthdaysToCalendar. It demonstrates how to write a managed Pocket Outlook Object Model (POOM) application. The application iterates through the contact collection, and adds the birthday of the each contact to the Calendar, as a yearly recurring all-day event.

Usage
To run the code sample
Navigate to the solution file (*.sln), and double-click it. By default, the solution files are copied to the following folders:
C:\Program Files\Windows CE Tools\wce500\Windows Mobile 5.0 Pocket PC SDK\Samples\Cs\Birthdaystocalendar\BirthdaysToCalendar.slnC:\Program Files\Windows CE Tools\wce500\Windows Mobile 5.0 Smartphone SDK\Samples\Cs\Birthdaystocalendar\BirthdaysToCalendar.slnMicrosoft Visual Studio 2005 launches and loads the solution.
Build the solution (Ctrl+Shift+B).
Deploy the solution (F5).
To use the application
- To add the birthdays to the calendar, choose Add from BithdaysToCalendar's menu.
Remarks
It is assumed that you have a set of Contacts with valid Birthdays in the Contact Collection.
Requirements
Pocket PC SDK: Windows Mobile 5.0 Pocket PC SDK.
Smartphone SDK: Windows Mobile 5.0 Smartphone SDK.
Development Environment: Visual Studio 2005.
ActiveSync: Version 4.0.
