This message is sent by an application to an IME window to set the position of the candidate window. This message is intended for applications that display composition characters on their own but use the IME window to display candidates.

Syntax

msg = (UINT)WM_IME_CONTROL;
wParam = (WPARAM)IMC_SETCANDIDATEPOS;
lParam = (LPARAM)&CandForm;

Parameters

• &CandForm
  Pointer to the CANDIDATEFORM structure that contains the x- and y-coordinates for the candidate window. The application should set the dwIndex member in the structure.

Return Value

Zero indicates success. Nonzero indicates failure.
