This function retrieves the CLSID for the specified media type.

Syntax

HRESULT FindMediaTypeClass(
  LPBC pbc,
  LPCSTR szType,
  CLSID* pclsID,
  DWORD dwReserved
);

Parameters

• pbc
  [in] Address of the bind context on which the media type is registered.

• szType
  [in] String identifying the media types. This parameter cannot be NULL.

• pclsID
  [out] Address of the CLSID corresponding to the specified media types in szType.

• dwReserved
  [in] Reserved. Must be set to zero.

Return Value

Returns S_OK if successful or E_INVALIDARG if one or more parameters are invalid.
