These constants describe different string formats.
The following table shows the STRINGFORMAT constants.

STRINGFORMAT_ASCII = 0x00000001 |
Specifies standard ASCII character format using one byte per character. |
STRINGFORMAT_BINARY = 0x00000004 |
This is an array of unsigned characters; could be used for numeric values. |
STRINGFORMAT_DBCS = 0x00000002 |
Specifies standard DBCS character format using one or two bytes per character. |
STRINGFORMAT_UNICODE = 0x00000003 |
Specifies standard Unicode character format using two bytes per character. |
Remarks
These constants cannot be extended. All 32 bits are reserved.
