To send this message, call the SendMessage function.

Syntax

lResult = SendMessage( 
   (HWND) hWndControl, 
   (UINT) LVM_SETGROUPINFO, 
   (WPARAM) wParam,     // = (WPARAM) (int) iGroupId;
   (LPARAM) lParam      // = (LPARAM) (PLVGROUP) pgrp;
);

Parameters

• iGroupId
  Identifier (ID) that specifies the group whose information is to be set.

• pgrp
  Pointer to an LVGROUP structure that contains the information to set.

Return Value

Returns the ID of the group if successful, or -1 otherwise.
