ISAXErrorHandler::fatalError Method

This method receives notification of a non-recoverable error.

Syntax

HRESULT fatalError(
  ISAXLocator* pLocator, 
  const wchar_t* pwchErrorMessage,
  HRESULT hrErrorCode
);

Parameters

• pLocator
  [in] Pointer to the Locator object, which contains line and column numbers of the error. SystemID and PublicID may be unavailable for particular data sources, such as character buffer.

• pwchErrorMessage
  [in] Pointer to the error information.

• hrErrorCode
  [in] Error code identifying the reason for the error.

Return Value

• S_OK
  Returned when the error is handled, but parsing stops for fatal errors.

• Other
  Returned if parsing should be aborted.
