This message sets some or all of the attributes of a tree view item. You can send this message explicitly or by using theTreeView_SetItem macro.

Syntax

TVM_SETITEM wParam = 0; 
    lParam = (LPARAM)(const TV_ITEM FAR*) pitem;

Parameters

• pitem
  Pointer to a TVITEM structure that contains the new item attributes. The hItemmember identifies the item, and the mask member specifies which attributes to set.

  If mask specifies the TVIF_TEXT value, the pszText member is the address of a null-terminated string and the cchTextMax member is ignored.

  If mask specifies the TVIF_STATE value, the stateMask member indicates which item states to change and the state member contains the values for those states.

Return Value

TRUE indicates success. FALSE indicates success.
