Edit_SetExtendedStyle

This function sets the extended style information for the specified window.

Syntax

void Edit_SetExtendedStyle(
  HWND hwndCtl,
  DWORD dwMask,
  DWORD dwExStyle
);

Parameters

• hwndCtl
  The window for which the style will be set.

• dwMask
  The mask for accessing the style setting.

• dwExStyle
  The extended style to which the window will be set.

  Value	Description
  ES_EX_CLEARONBACKPRESSHOLD	Clear all contents when the user presses and holds the Back key.
  ES_EX_FOCUSBORDERDISABLED	Prevent control from drawing a border when window gains focus.

Return Value

Returns the styles to which the window was already set.
