The FreeMem method frees memory allocated by Messaging.
Syntax
HRESULT FreeMem (
LPVOID pvmem
);
Parameters
- pvmem
[in] Reference to memory that was previously allocated using the AllocateMem method.
Return Values
- E_FAIL
Ignored.
Note Although FreeMem returns an HRESULT of E_FAIL, it means it successfully freed the allocated memory.
Remarks
Anytime the transport needs to free the memory allocated by Messaging, FreeMem must be used — for example, memory received when using the IMailSyncCallBack::RequestCredentials.
