IMailSyncHandler::ShutDown

The ShutDown method is called by Messaging to shut down the transport.

Syntax

HRESULT ShutDown (
  DWORD dwReserved
);

Parameters

• dwReserved
  [in] Reserved; set to zero.

Return Values

This method returns the standard values E_INVALIDARG, E_OUTOFMEMORY, E_UNEXPECTED, and E_FAIL, as well as the following:

• S_OK
  Indicates success.

Remarks

If ShutDown gets called while the transport is synchronizing in another thread, the transport should stop synchronizing.
