IPOutlookApp::GetItemFromOid

The GetItemFromOid method retrieves the item specified by a Windows CE object identifier (OID).

Syntax

HRESULT GetItemFromOid(
  long oid,
  IDispatch ** ppolItem
);

Parameters

• oid
  [in] Identifier of the item to be retrieved. This OID might have been retrieved by replication services or from a call to an add-in.
• ppolItem
  [out] Reference to the retrieved item.

Return Values

This method returns the standard values E_INVALIDARG, E_OUTOFMEMORY, E_UNEXPECTED, and E_FAIL, as well as the following:

• S_OK
  The method completed successfully.
