Wireless Transport Layer Security (WTLS) handles Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) security for Windows Mobile-based devices. WTLS class 2, which provides encryption with server authentication, is supported.
A Windows Mobile-based device performs server authentication by verifying the identity of the server with which it is communicating.
