Defines the data type of a parameter for a method.

The TypeDescriptor type exposes the following members.

Properties

	ChildTypeDescriptors	Gets the collection of child type descriptors under this type descriptor.
	ContainsFilterDescriptor	Gets a boolean, true if the typedescriptor contains a filter descriptor column.
	ContainsIdentifier	Gets a boolean, true if the typedescriptor contains an identifier column.
	DefaultDisplayName	Gets the default display name of the metadata object. (Inherited from MetadataObject.)
	FilterDescriptor	Gets or sets the filter descriptor associated with this type descriptor.

	LocalizedDisplayNames	Gets all the localized display names available for this metadata object. (Inherited from MetadataObject.)
	Name	Gets or sets the name of the metadata object. (Inherited from MetadataObject.)
	Parameter	Gets the parameter object to which the type descriptor belongs.
	ParentTypeDescriptor	Sets or gets the parent type descriptor for this type descriptor.
	Properties	Gets all the properties that belong to this metadata object. (Inherited from MetadataObject.)
	TypeName	Gets or sets the name of the type in the line-of-business (LOB) system's type system that is described by this TypeDescriptor.
