Edits the specified HostDistributionRule in the Search service application.

Parameters

• curHostName
  Type: System.String

  The host name of the HostDistributionRule to edit.

• curCrawlDatabaseGuid
  Type: System.Guid

  The identifier of the crawl store for the HostDistributionRule to edit.

• newHostName
  Type: System.String

  The new host name of the HostDistributionRule to edit.

• newCrawlDatabaseGuid
  Type: System.Guid

  The new identifier of the crawl store for the HostDistributionRule to edit.

Exceptions

Remarks

This method removes the HostDistributionRule specified by the curHostName and curCrawlDatabaseGuid from the Search service application and adds a new HostDistributionRule with the newHostName and newCrawlDatabaseGuid.
