PSDataTable.GetColumnAsString method (DataRow, String)

Gets the string value of the specified column in a DataRow object.

Parameters

• row
  Type: System.Data.DataRow

  The row to search for the specified column.

• colName
  Type: System.String

  The name of the column.

Return value

Type: System.String
Returns the string value of the specified column. If either row or colName are a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic), returns String.Empty.

Remarks

Internally, GetColumnAsString(row, colName) calls GetColumnAsString(row, colName, String.Empty).
