CustomFieldDataSet.CustomFieldsRow.MD_ENT_TYPE_UID property

Gets or sets the type of entity (project, task, or resource) for the custom field.

Property value

Type: System.Guid
A GUID that represents an entity type.

Remarks

Sets the MD_ENT_TYPE_UID() with the Microsoft.Office.Project.Server.Library.EntityCollection.Entities.[Entity].UniqueId property, where [Entity] can be ProjectEntity, ResourceEntity, or TaskEntity.

Examples

The following example uses CustomFieldWS as the name of a web reference to the Custom Fields web service (https://ServerName/ProjectServerName/_vti_bin/psi/CustomFields.asmx). The btnCustomField_Click event handler is for a button on a Windows Form application, such as LoginDemo in the Project SDK download.
