WindowHelper.ShowModalElement Method (Guid, UInt32, IVsUISimpleDataSource)

Create the specified element and display it as a modal dialog, using the main window of the IDE as the parent.

• factory
  Type: System.Guid

  The GUID of the UI factory that should create. the element

• elementId
  Type: System.UInt32

  The ID of the UI element to create.

• dataSource
  Type: Microsoft.VisualStudio.Shell.Interop.IVsUISimpleDataSource

  The data source.

Return Value

Type: System.Int32
The Win32 button ID, or 0 for unknown.
