Remarks
For file-based management agents, the user must configure an anchor attribute. For most protocol management agents, Microsoft Identity Integration Server 2003 uses a known value that uniquely identifies the object. For example, Microsoft Identity Integration Server 2003 uses the object GUID for Active Directory management agents.
The anchor of an object never changes during the lifetime of the object.
