This function implements the IOCTL_HAL_UPDATE_MODE handler. OALIoCtlHalUpdateMode gets and sets the RAM-based update mode flag.

Parameters
dwIoControlCode
[in] Set to IOCTL_HAL_UPDATE_MODE.lpInBuf
[in] Boolean parameter that specifies the update mode.The following table shows the values for this parameter.
Value Description TRUE Specifies update mode. FALSE Specifies normal OS mode. nInBufsize
[in] Equal to sizeof(lpInBuf).lpOutBuf
Set to NULL.nOutBufSize
Set to 0.lpBytesReturned
Set to 0.
Return Values
TRUE indicates success.
FALSE indicates failure.
