OALIoCtlHalUpdateMode (Windows CE 5.0)

This function implements the IOCTL_HAL_UPDATE_MODE handler. OALIoCtlHalUpdateMode gets and sets the RAM-based update mode flag.

BOOL OALIoCtlHalUpdateMode(  UINT32 dwIoControlCode,  VOID* lpInBuf,  UINT32 nInBufSize,  VOID* lpOutBuf,  UINT32 nOutBufSize,  UINT32* lpBytesReturned);

Parameters

• dwIoControlCode
  [in] Set to IOCTL_HAL_UPDATE_MODE.

• lpInBuf
  [in] Boolean parameter that specifies the update mode.

  The following table shows the values for this parameter.

  Value	Description
  TRUE	Specifies update mode.
  FALSE	Specifies normal OS mode.

• nInBufsize
  [in] Equal to sizeof(lpInBuf).

• lpOutBuf
  Set to NULL.

• nOutBufSize
  Set to 0.

• lpBytesReturned
  Set to 0.

Return Values

TRUE indicates success.

FALSE indicates failure.
