This macro sets the tooltip text. You can use this macro or send the LVM_SETINFOTIP message explicitly.

BOOL ListView_SetInfoTip(  HWND hwnd,  PLVSETINFOTIP plvSetInfoTip);

Parameters

• hwnd
  Handle to the list-view control.
• plvSetInfoTip
  Pointer to a LVSETINFOTIP structure that contains the information to set.

Return Value

Returns TRUE if the tooltip text is set successfully, or FALSE otherwise.

Requirements

OS Versions: Windows CE 5.0 and later.
Header: Commctrl.h.
