The put_currentPosition method specifies the current position in the media item in seconds from the beginning.
Syntax
HRESULT put_currentPosition( double dCurrentPosition );
Parameters
- dCurrentPosition
[in] double containing the current position.
Return Values
The method returns an HRESULT. Possible values include, but are not limited to, those in the following table.

Remarks
The put_currentPosition method does not work for all media types. To determine whether you can use it in a clip, call the IWMPControls::get_isAvailable method and pass in the BSTR value "currentPosition".
