xxx_Init (Servicesd.exe) (Compact 2013)

This function is to be implemented by a service and will be called by Servicesd.exe.

Syntax

DWORD xxx_Init(
  DWORD dwData
);

Parameters

• dwData
  [in] Specifies the service-supplied data.

Return Value

Returns a value to be used in calls to xxx_Open (Servicesd.exe).

Remarks

This function is called during Servicesd.exe initialization, in which case dwData is the DWORD value set in the registry value HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Services\Service\Context, or zero if this value is not set.

Servicesd.exe uses the xxx prefix. When implementing the stream interface, replace xxx with a prefix appropriate for your specific implementation.
