This function sends one or more evented variables to all remote subscribers using the UPnP event notification scheme.

Syntax

  PCWSTR pszServiceId,
  DWORD nArgs,
  UPNPPARAM* rgArgs
);

Parameters

• pszDeviceName
  [in] Local device name specified in the UPNPDEVICEINFO structure.

• pszUDN
  [in] UDN uniquely identifying the device instance.

• pszServiceId
  [in] Specifies the service identifier for the service from the device description.

• nArgs
  [in] Specifies the number of elements in an rgArgs array.

• rgArgs
  [in] Specifies an array of UPNPPARAM structures, each specifying the name and value of one variable.

Return Value

Returns TRUE if the function call succeeds, FALSE if an error occurs.

Remarks

This function is typically called from inside the callback function, after fulfilling out a remote request. The variable names and values must conform to the published SCPD. The device is responsible for moderating the frequency of event notifications.
