IXRPasswordBox::GetMaxLength (Windows Embedded CE 6.0)

This method retrieves the maximum length for passwords to be handled by this password box.

Syntax

virtual HRESULT STDMETHODCALLTYPE GetMaxLength(
    int* pMaxLength
) = 0;

Parameters

• pMaxLength
  [out] Pointer to an integer value that specifies the maximum length, in characters, for passwords to be handled by this password box. A value of zero (0) means no limit.

Return Value

Returns an HRESULT that indicates success or failure.

Remarks

The value of pMaxLength only restricts the length of a password entered manually by the user. It does not affect programmatic manipulation of the password value.
