The universal serial bus (USB) function mass storage client function driver allows a Microsoft® Windows® CE platform to expose a storage device to a USB host controller. For example, the Windows CE-based device can expose internal CompactFlash devices, a hard disk drive, or USB mass storage components. The storage appears as a USB mass storage device to the USB host. This allows the USB host to transfer files to and from the native storage device on the hardware platform through a USB connection.
